Hello, I am Alaura…..
I am a Sacred Writing Coach and Writing Workshop Facilitator. I am the founder of Write Your Unique Story. I have guided many women to write their unique stories. Their stories have been published and short-listed for major literary prizes, including the prestigious Faulkner Prize. In my 30s, after a successful career in the music industry, I followed my passion to facilitate Pilgrimages and retreats to sacred sites around the world with my company, Sacred Journeys for Women. I had an amazing adventure with many women on these journeys, until I decided to take a sabbatical and fulfil a lifelong dream of going to college. I received my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies at the age of 50. Then I jumped straight into a Masters program and graduated with my MFA in 2016.
